The Cochise can best be described as margarita meets greyhound. A modification for this drink can be to replace the Silver Oat Whiskey with Vodka 7000.
1.5 oz Silver Oat Whiskey
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
0.5 oz Demerara simple syrup
1 gram fresh ginger root
3 dashes Bittermens Boston Bitahs
Place ginger in mixing glass and muddle into soft pulp. Add all ingredients to mixing glass with ice and shake. Strain into ice-filled Old-Fashioned glass. Garnish with grapefruit wedge.
