Mrs. Palmer

1.5 oz Vodka 7000’ Peach
0.50 oz High West ginger syrup
1 oz lemon juice
0.50 Limoncello
Iced Tea

Shake ingredients and pour over chip ice into Collins glass. Top with Iced Tea. Garnish with lemon wheel.

Mormon Peach Mule

2 oz High West 7000 Peach Vodka
1 oz Sathenay Creme de Peche de Vigne
1/4 oz Kings Ginger Liqueur
1/2 lemon
3-4 dashes Fee Bros Peach Bitters
top with Reed Xtra Ginger Beer

Place all ingredients into glass except for the ginger beer. Shake, serve on the rocks and top with ginger beer.

Bloody Mary

1.5 oz Vodka 7000
4 oz tomato juice
½ tsp horseradish
½ tsp Worcestershire
0.25 oz Lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Celery Stick, Lemon or Lime wedge

Preparation:  Mix 1.5 Vodka 7000’, 4 oz tomato juice, 1/2 tsp horseradish, 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 0.25 oz lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.  Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled glass.  Garnish with a celery stick, wedge of lemon or lime

Potentially invented for Ernest Hemingway in the 1920s at Harry’s Bar in Venice as a hangover cure, it is popularly believed to have been named after Queen Mary Tudor of England, whose ruthless persecution of the Protestants during her short reign (1553-1558) earned her the nickname “Bloody Mary.”

Vodka Martini

1.5 oz Vodka 7000
0.5 oz Dry vermouth
Olives or twist

Preparation:  Mix 1.5 oz Vodka 7000’, 0.5 oz dry vermouth on ice.  Shake and strain.  Garnish with olives or a twist

Although the original martini, created in the late 19th-century US, was made with a gin base, it is the Vodka Martini that has become the classic standard.  Following the arrival of vodka in the US and western Europe in the late 1940’s, the current predilection for vodka over gin can largely be attributed to the popularity of the first James Bond movie Dr. No in 1962 –the famous “shaken, not stirred, vodka martini” helped to bring the drink to an audience far beyond the exclusive cocktail lounges of NY, London and Paris.

Cowgirl Kiss

1.5 oz Vodka 7000’
1.5 oz Pomegranate
0.5 oz Sparkling Wine

Preparation: Mix 1.5 oz vodka 7000’, 1.5 oz pomegranate juice, and ice in a shaker glass. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Splash 0.5 oz Sparkling wine to garnish

 

Vodka 7000’ Lemonade

1.5 oz Vodka 7000’
Fill HW lemonade
Splash Pomegranate
Mint Sprig

A modern classic based on the recipe for Gluwein enjoyed in Switzerland. Lemonade is made with a simple syrup mulled with vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. This is very refreshing in the summer or a great warm-up après ski. Preparation: Fill rocks glass with ice, 1.5 oz Vodka 7000’, High West lemonade, garnish with a splash of pomegranate juice and a sprig of fresh mint.

High West Simple Syrup

Sugar – 5 cups
Water – 4 cups
Lemon – 2 ea
Whole Cloves – 4oz
Cinnamon Sticks – 4 ea
Vanilla bean – 1 ea
Whole nutmeg – 1 ea

Direction:

  • Cut the lemon into half
  • Put them all together in a pot and make sure to mix it well, so they won’t burn at the bottom
  • When starts to boil, lower the heat and simmer it for 30 mins
  • Strain and cool them

Ready to use for highwest lemonade

Whiskey Smash

(High West Original)

1.5 oz Rendezvous Rye
1 Lemon wedge
3-4 mint leaves
0.25 oz Simple Syrup
Mint sprig
Lemon wheel

In a shaker, muddle 1 lemon wedge, 3-4 mint leaves and 0.25 oz of simple syrup together. Add 1.5 oz Rendezvous Rye and ice. Shake and strain over a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and lemon wheel.
