Horse's Neck

Dating back to the 1890's, the Horse's Neck was a non-alcoholic mixture of ginger ale, ice, and lemon peel. By the 1910's, brandy or bourbon would be added for a 'Horse's Neck with a Kick,' or stiff.

RECIPE:
2 oz Double Rye!
3 oz Ginger Beer
Lemon Twist

Pour whiskey in a Collins glass filled with ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with a lemon twist.
