HIGH WEST DISTILLERY WELCOMES THE SOUND OF PATSY CLINE FOR INTIMATE HARVEST DINNER EVENT
PARK CITY, UTAH (October 10, 2011) – To celebrate the change of seasons and the launch of a new whiskey, High West Distillery will host an intimate dinner and concert featuring music by Patsy Cline on October 29, 2011. Limited to only 66 people, the event will introduce High West’s latest creation, Son of Bourye, and feature a new Distiller’s Tasting Menu and Fall Harvest Menu and honor Nashville musical icon from the 1960s Patsy Cline.
The Son of Bourye is the follow-up to High West’s original Bourye, a unique blend of bourbon and rye whiskey. Spicy and bold in flavor, the Son of Bourye is a perfect spirit to make its debut during the crisp fall weather. Tastings and cocktails made with the Son of Bourye will be available for purchase throughout the night.
The Harvest Dinner will begin at 5:30pm in High West’s Livery Stable with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and a three-course dinner following at 6:30. Throughout the Harvest Dinner, Perkins and High West Executive Chef James Dumas will introduce each course and educate guests on the paired whiskey. Erica Hansen, the night’s featured singer, will perform selected Patsy Cline songs from 7:30 – 9pm. Hansen, a Utah resident, has made a lasting impression on audiences with her true-to-character Patsy Cline performances and has starred in the off-Broadway musical Always… Patsy Cline seven times. A dessert buffet will conclude the evening.
Tickets to the Harvest Dinner with Patsy Cline are $50 per person and include food and music. Whiskey pairings are available for an additional $15. The Harvest Dinner with Patsy Cline will sell out, and tickets can be purchased in advance at www.highwestharvestdinner.eventbrite.com.
